Classic Spring Wedding at Stonebridge Manor

Jun 14

This classic spring wedding at Stonebridge Manor had perfectly executed black and white details throughout the day. We were fans of the unique and impactful custom signs by Wildhouse Ink that turned out lovely.

Ceremony

Guests were greeted at their black chairs with a neutral and beautiful white fan. It was a thoughtful accent for an April Arizona wedding. Floral columns were set nice and close together to hug the couple as they said I do in the outdoor ceremony altar space. Ground arrangements helped to enhance the aisle with floral. These pieces were pulled to the reception as rectangular table floral accents.

All ceremony floral elements were repurposed to the reception. It’s not always a simple task considering the details of the flip. We have to consider the details which can include stairs, long distances, traveling through cocktail hour, heavy floral towers, lots of moving pieces, a tight timeline, and refreshing the arrangements in their new location. Ground arrangements have a priority to look great from above, while table top arrangements have a priority to look great at base level up. But when planned for and executed well, repurposing can be a success.

Cocktail Hour

Ground arrangements were used to accent the unique welcome sign, welcoming guests and setting the tone for the evening. There was a fun interactive escort board that the guests spun to find their seat on the other side.

The great event design details by Wildhouse Ink were made possible by Kayla of Details, Darlings. They do everything well when it comes to planning, but they have an obvious niche of having fun and interesting cocktail hour designs, including the escort board display, to make the event unique to YOU! What a wonderful and creative skill set. Plus Kayla made sure every detail was executed perfectly from signage placement, candle alignment, and bar back set up. Everything was considered to create a lovely and memorable space.

Reception

The reception at this classic spring wedding featured perfect black and white details. The dance floor, menu, and napkin – chair – linen combo was lovely. The pulled ceremony ground floral made for fuller table floral. Surrounding the sweetheart table was fun ceremony floral as well. A lovely photo op for the bride and groom as well as reception photos – especially speeches was also featured. Dancing the night away with the couple’s favorite people on their black and white checkerboard dance floor made for a perfect conclusion.
