The variety in flowers and a super fun color palette made this colorful spring wedding a dream! Embracing the season, pinks, oranges, yellows, blues, and purples made up the design. Flower selection included blue delphinium, magenta peonies, peach and pink ranunculus, pink Larkspur, purple fluffy delphinium, purple ombre light to dark mums, blush mums, pink campanula, pink and buttery yellow stock (this being a stem Kris the coordinator loved especially), butterfly ranunculus, queen annes lace, orange and pink dahlias, daisy and tulips.
Four large and full back of aisle arrangements met guests as they entered the ceremony space. The ceremony design consisted of a variety of arrangements, baskets and vases at a variety of heights and dimensions. Some were single variety, while others were mixed. They were designed to look like “market bunches” in the baskets. The bride’s bouquet featured fluffy sweet peas and dahlias, rocking the stellar color palette of the day. One of the best color moments was the bold pink choice in the bridesmaid dresses!
Simple bud vases for high top tables and smaller arrangements were used for the cocktail and lounge tables. The lounge furniture was amazing, matching the vibe perfectly. The welcome sign from the ceremony, escort sign, and bar sign all had adorable inserts for flower boxes to make it look like flowers were growing from them.
All of the ceremony elements were pulled to the reception space. The varied pots and shapes baskets and columns were arranged in front of the band. The back of aisle arrangements were placed in front of the bride and groom at a lovely long head table. Down the head table were a variety of bud vases with simple florals, some clear vases, some colorful. Similarly, there were a mix of fun colored taper candles. The reception tables had a mix of table linen colors: light pink, light purple, light blue and light yellow. We created three different size centerpiece varieties all with unique floral and color combos in white vases. It was fun to not have the same “cookie cutter” design and mix it up with each centerpiece making them all lovely in their own way. They used the space at The Clayton House adding fun variety to it, including an amazing lit dance floor! Props to Kris from Konsider It Done in making it feel cozy in the large space with such good lay out. The day was captured by the amazing Saje, as always.
