I’m Allison, the owner and lead designer of Array Design a wedding and event floral design company that creates unique floral designs for the joyfully in love. Okay, so it’s 2020 and you can look at me sideways for saying weddings and events, that’s fair. Large gatherings and weddings have been impossible you might think. But love, love has been as strong as ever with couples moving forward with intimate wedding ideas.
I have had the absolute JOY of helping sweet couples say “I DO” to their best friend in-spite of these unprecedented times. My favorite part of being a wedding and event floral designer? MY COUPLES! It is an honor to help couples celebrate their love, and commit to each other to be there through thick and thin, sickness and heath, the fun times, and the not so fun times.
Celebrating my couples has looked A LOT different these days. There have been so many intimate wedding ideas come to life. I have helped brides figure out how to make their parent’s backyard a lovely spot to say “I DO” in front of their immediate family at an intimate backyard weddings. Many elopement bouquets have gone out the door for couples to go on amazing adventures and wed their best friend. Technology has been an amazing factor. Couples have exchanged vows in the presence of their minister with their entire family joining in via a video call. The creativity is exceptional. It has been so fun being a small part of helping couples become Mr & Mrs.
Like many others, this sweet couple decided to postpone their reception, but not wait a day longer to start their married adventure. An intimate and lovely backyard was the setting for their nuptials. The bright floral had nothing on their joy-filled celebration.
