An elegant, sophisticated and feminine look led the design for this soft pastels in fall wedding. The day’s design was subtle, yet beautiful. The overall wedding color palette included white and green with some champagne or muted colors. In addition to those colors were soft and muted shades of blush, buttery yellow, lavender, and mauve seen in the floral color palette of the day.
Not usually captured in pictures, the mock up of a sample floral design during the planning process can be very helpful. I remember this couple’s mock up as the color palette deliberation concluded with the decision to add more color, a conclusion I am always a fan of. It is such a joy when our clients are delighted by the mock up as I know they’ll just love their wedding day designs. Walking into a full room of floral designs can make such a wonderful impact on a space, it’s just a treat to see.
The couple’s ceremony was held at a Catholic church. Already a beautiful space for the occasion, dainty pew floral accents were added to the aisles.
White is my absolute favorite as the key element for bridal bouquet, but with a variety of other soft colors for all arrangements, just as this bride’s was. The bridesmaids carried petite versions of the bride’s bouquet.
During cocktail hour, the couple took pictures in a fun vintage car. Emily B was their photographer, doing an amazing job. She is one of our favorites! High boy tables were placed around the pond, with bud vases with a few blooms on top.
Taking place in the beautiful Royal Palms ballroom was the reception. Simple centerpieces were at guest tables paired with elegant taper and votive candles for a very classy look. A lush ground arrangement was placed in front of the sweetheart table.
