Katie and Daniel’s Boho Blush Elopement: A Desert Elopement with Style and Grace

Aug 10

No matter the size of your “I do” exchange, having a great team working to make your day amazing through any unexpected changes, makes a big difference.

Last minute unexpected changes met Katie and Daniel’s boho blush elopement. That’s where the grace of the day comes in. Because ALL of the location plans changed the morning of the event thanks to the rain. But you can’t tell from the photos! Thanks to her faith in her amazing team of Kaylee Chelsea Photography and Cloth & Flame, Katie was cool, calm and collected, full of grace.

Kaylee and Andy of Kaylee Chelsea Photography have a knack for capturing AMAZING images out in the beautiful desert. They’ve got you covered, come rain or shine. We said a lot of prayers for a moment of reprieve from the sun showers, and you’ll see they definitely had a few moments to capture beautiful memories.

Katie had a soft palette in mind for her floral, to accent the desert and the look of Kaylee’s style. Her floral color palette included champagne, mauve, blush, white, and hints of greenery. There were some lovely full roses and spray roses that fit her color palette beautifully. And of course, I loved including ranunculus in the design.

Katie and Daniel decided to have a beautiful elopement in the Arizona desert. They traveled from Pittsburg to enjoy the amazing mountain views and day of exploring with Kaylee & Andy to say “I do”.

The Ceremony

The intimate ceremony took place in a lovely greenhouse at Desert Foothills Nursery. It boasted some fun textures that you might not find out in our surrounding desert.

Under the roof of the greenhouse due to the rainy day weather here in the desert. It was surrounded by cacti and amazing desert plants. The Cloth & Flame team helped make it special with their dinner for two.

They’re married!

These two were just the sweetest and up for anything. It was an absolute pleasure to work with them. They had a dream team of vendors to bring their boho blush elopement to life from Cloth & Flame creating their sweet dinner to Kaylee Chelsea’s experience to capture beautiful images, even during a rainy day! Cloth & Flame also created the rainy day schedule backup ceremony venue, bringing the details together without missing a beat. They were wonderful to work with.
