The beauty of this outdoor spring desert wedding required very little influence from human touch, as the stunning desert setting made for a gorgeous backdrop. The outdoor desert venue Desert Foothills located in north Scottsdale hosted Casey and Matt’s wedding day. The rustic venue made for the perfect spot not only for their celebration, but to enjoy all the desert has to offer in the lovely Arizona spring.

Planning a Desert Wedding

Casey and Matt were just the sweetest to work with. I knew their wedding day would be full of joy from the first time I met Casey. With Taylor of Your Jubilee as their wedding planner, I also knew Casey and Matt’s day was bound to be gorgeous and fun under Taylor’s care. They loved the desert backdrop that Desert Foothills offered. With cacti and open desert setting the scene behind their “I dos”, those moments couldn’t have been much more lovely.

Spring Floral

Casey chose for her bridesmaids to wear blush. This made for a perfect key color in the floral palette. I kept the gals’ bouquets a bit more neutral, but had Casey’s bouquet include pops of various tones of pink to complement the stunning bride. Peonies, dahlias, garden roses, and ranunculus, just a few of my favorites, were included in the floral. Spring is the most lovely time of the year for flowers, and I was so happy to have access to the most amazing varieties for Casey and Matt’s arrangements.

Desert Dream Team

I can’t help but point out the glowy desert light that was amazing that day. Mary Claire captured it so perfectly, along with the essence of this spring celebration in the desert! The team was stellar for Casey and Matt’s day, especially Taylor, making sure everything ran smoothly in the desert! The desert backdrop was undoubtedly worth it. Driving up to Desert Foothills, it felt like I was transported to a rustic rendezvous. It was a treat to experience the unique space with a great team, but even more so bring the blooms for such a lovely couple!
