Style a Wedding Arch

Aug 16

Every bride has a unique vision of her wedding day, and with Array Design’s help, our brides can pinpoint how their vision can come to life. The ceremony wedding arch is a big piece to the design. With different brides, come different goals and color palettes. Multiple times we have created different masterpieces within the same venue for our happy couples.

Rounded Garden Wedding Arch

From the Array Design inventory for our full service event installations you can opt for a lovely rounded garden arch. This is by far one of our favorite designs. You can see more of the the first wedding here.

Low Ground Arrangement

No separate structure needed, just a lovely floral design to create a low ground arc. Ideal for spaces that have amazing views all around. See more of this wedding here.

When planning your wedding, renting your archway is typical since most venues don’t provide an archway. With so many options of shapes and materials, renting allows you to have a picture-perfect ceremony! I Do Rentals has a wide variety of backdrops/arches ranging in shapes, colors, and materials that won’t break the bank. Once the ceremony is over, you have the opportunity to move the arch into your reception space. Some couples move it behind the sweetheart table or create a photo op for their guests.

Triangle Wedding Arch

The triangle arch is a popular choice due to its unique shape. You have the option to add florals to both sides or choose a specific side to accent. For this ceremony the bride opted for our à la carte option and incorporated a blush-colored arrangement on the left side of the triangle. For another, the bride went for greenery and white roses for a sophisticated look that covered the majority of the triangular shape.

Classic Arbor

If you are wanting to go more traditional, the classic arbor is the best option. You have the opportunity to make it fit into your day by adding florals or to go all out with a dried arrangement with white roses dispersed throughout like one of our brides opted for.

Circle Wedding Arch

The wooden circle arch is another showstopper. This arch still allows you to have full reign on where you want your floral arrangements. Some brides still opt to place arrangements asymmetrically or go all out and do both sides of the circle. Whether that be with dried arrangements like one bride chose for her Sedona wedding or a timeless asymmetrical white floral with greenery placed on the arch.

Gather Estate Arch

While it is rare to come across a venue that includes an arch, Gather Estate is a favorite among Arizona brides that includes a standard arbor. Here are some examples of different floral designs with that same arbor.

Asymmetrical Floral

The first arrangement is a very sophisticated and modern color palette that includes bunches of white roses embedded into the greenery. There are two arrangements that are asymmetrically places with the top left corner being the larger of the two.

This arrangement has a pop of color with a variety of florals all in the fall palette incorporated into the greenery. The greenery cascaded down both arrangements adding height to the ceremony. This is a great way to incorporate your color palette on your special day.

Top Corner Installation

This arrangement is similar to the first arrangement with a bed of greens with white roses dispersed throughout. The greenery is the showstopper on the top left corner of the archway.. The arch is accented with different-sized lanterns at the base of the legs. Adding items such as lanterns, candles, or signs can accentuate the theme of the day.

This bride chose a simple greenery arrangement in the top left corner. The greens consist of different types of eucalyptus. Even though this was such a simple design, it was such an elegant choice and fit perfectly into the aesthetic of the day.

Fifth design was very similar to the second arrangement. It was greenery with white roses throughout on the top left corner. What made this arch different from the rest was the fabric draped around the top and flowed on the right side of the arch.

No matter the arch, we are able to customize the perfect floral to fit the aesthetic of your day. This can be anything from an all-dried moment to a burst of color. We create floral to make your day cohesive and beautiful in photos and real-time.
