Planning Your Palette | Blush

Sep 28

Blush is lovely. It brings a soft, feminine touch to wedding days. Some colors that first come to my mind to go with blush are taupe, champagne, and mauve hues. I am including some of my favorite arrangements below that feature key blush wedding colors, with variations in their details.

Blush with a Pop of Hot Pink

Focal Blush Flowers: Cafe au Lait dahlia, roses, and sweet pea

Supporting Palette Flowers: jasmine vine with pink buds and blush clooney ranunculus

Bouquet Ribbon: short ivory ribbon

Hot pink ranunculus was included in the design for a fun pop of color at the reception. The bridal party and ceremony floral featured lovely white and blush hues, including a stellar dahlia bloom front and center of the bride’s bouquet.

Lakeside Spring Blush

Focal Blush Flowers: warm blush roses, sweet pea, and stock

Supporting Palette Flowers: blush Clooney ranunculus, white stock, and blush spray roses

Bouquet Ribbon: long white ribbon

Whimsical Blush-Mauve

Focal Blush Flowers: butterfly ranunculus, scabiosa flower, and Clooney ranunculus

Supporting Palette Flowers: blush roses, champagne roses, mauve roses, spirea, and sweet pea

Bouquet Ribbon: long white ribbon

Romantic Pepper Berry Blush

Focal Blush Flowers: pink pepper berry, scabiosa flowers, blush roses, spray roses

Supporting Palette Flowers: ranunculus, scabiosa pods, astrantia, thistles, hypericum berries, mauve roses, burgundy scabiosa

Bouquet Ribbon: short white ribbon

Classic White & Blush Garden Style

Focal Blush Flowers: blush roses, ranunculus, spray roses

Supporting Palette Flowers: rice flower, stock, white roses

Bouquet Ribbon: short taupe ribbon

Lush roses in white and blush to create a beautiful floral forward design accented by greens.

Timeless Blush and Champagne

Focal Blush Flowers: roses, Clooney ranunculus, astrantia

Supporting Palette Flowers: sweet pea, white ranunculus, lisianthus, champagne roses

Bouquet Ribbon: long white ribbon

A neutral, timeless design. Lovely champagne blush rose was full and LUSH for this bride’s sweet day. The bridesmaid bouquets were mostly neutral of white and greenery with blush. The bridal bouquet featured more blush hints, and the design lent itself to the reception floral details.

Hints of Blush

I have also included some designs featuring blush wedding colors highlighted in the floral palette. I hope they are a lovely inspiration!
